Margot Robbie pensa che un grande bel viaggio audace sia “magical”.
L’attrice 35enne recita nel nuovo film romantico-fantasia insieme a Colin Farrell e Margot ha spiegato cosa l’ha attratta nel progetto, ammettendo che la sceneggiatura “kept surprising” suo.
Alla domanda su cosa la attirasse nel film, Margot disse a Extra: “Sembrava davvero originale, magico e romantico.
“The movie starts and it’s like a meet-cute at a wedding and then it turns into like this road trip movie and then it gets a little emotional … It kept surprising me.”
Il film racconta la storia di due sconosciuti che sono riuniti da un viaggio inimmaginabile.
Margot ha ammesso di aver apprezzato l’esperienza di lavorare con Colin, rivelando che ha fatto panini per lei durante le riprese del film.
Chiesto di lavorare con Colin, ha risposto: “He’s the best co-star you could hope to have, honestly.”
Colin, nel frattempo, ha recentemente salutato Margot come un “brilliant actress”.
L’attore di 49 anni ha rivelato di aver apprezzato l’esperienza di lavorare con l’acclamata star del cinema.
Ha detto a varietà: “Ho sentito le cose più straordinarie [Margot] Nel corso degli anni dalle persone che hanno lavorato con te sia davanti che dietro la telecamera.
“Hanno detto che è un mensch … è la persona più bella, è divertente. È ovviamente un’attrice brillante, ma non lo hanno detto perché questo afferma l’ovvio, e le altre cose che non conoscevo, e tutto era molto vero e poi alcune.
“It was a joy every day to be on the set with her. She’s so smart, she’s so brilliant, but she’s just kind and fun.”
Colin ha anche confutato l’idea che il loro nuovo film è “dark”.
L’attore ha spiegato: “It deals with grief and loss and sorrow and loneliness and all these very human things that we all contend with, but I’ve never used the word darkness in relation to this film. No. There’s no darkness in it. Those things in and of themselves aren’t dark. They may be painful, but they’re not dark experiences.”
Margot ha sempre pensato che avrebbe sviluppato una buona chimica con Colin. Tuttavia, non era sicura al 100 % che sarebbe stato effettivamente il caso fino a quando le telecamere non iniziarono a rotolare.
Ha detto: “I suspected we would have chemistry, but you never know until you’re actually acting. But I had a suspicion it would work.”
Margot ha effettivamente eseguito un controllo casuale sul suo co-protagonista prima che lavorassero insieme.
L’attrice ha spiegato: “A lot of my closest girlfriends are crew members … Two of my closest girlfriends worked with you on Fantastic Beasts. They were ADs. And they were always like, ‘He’s the best, the kindest.’ They just spoke so highly of you.”
