Ricky Gervais ha rivelato la sua più grande paura di ricevere una stella sulla Walk of Fame di Hollywood.
Il comico ha ammesso di essere stato afflitto da un’insolita preoccupazione di ricevere l’onore iconico,
Ricky, 63 anni, ha detto a Variety che era entusiasta di svelare la sua stella nella celebre Walk of Fame di Hollywood, ma temeva che potesse aver bisogno di scendere a quattro zampe o accovacciarsi accanto alla sua nuova stella.
“I need help getting up, so that’d be embarrassing with photographers there,” Il creatore della serie ha scherzato.
Alla domanda se si considerava un esagerato, Ricky invece si dichiarò il “laziest” persona sulla terra.
“It’s funny because I just think I’m the laziest person in the world,” ha risposto. “I don’t wanna do anything.”
In effetti, ha aggiunto il vincitore di Emmy multiplo, si è trovato sempre più poco impressionante.
“I’m not impressed with anything I do anymore,” Ricky ha detto all’outlet, prima di riflettere, “Well, that’s not true. I’m impressed if I do a good shot at tennis. I go, ‘Oh, how did you get your fat little body over to that shot? That was really good, Rick.'”
L’attore ha anche affermato che, nonostante la sua reputazione di offendere il pubblico, sono stati calcolati fortemente i suoi spettacoli di stand-up e le prestazioni di hosting di premi.
“I write those jokes. I look at them from every angle. I make sure they’re bulletproof,” ha spiegato.
“I go out with a beer, I pretend to be a loose cannon, but I’m not. I’m never drunk. I have like a sip. And I can justify anything. I’m never that brutal. It just seems like it.”
