Alyssa Milano si è unito al cast di “Driver’s Ed”.
L’attrice 52enne lavorerà con il regista Bobby Farrelly per la terza volta nella sua carriera nel prossimo film comico.
Alyssa reciterà insieme a artisti del calibro di Kumail Nanjiani, Molly Shannon, Sam Nivola, Sophie Telegadis, Mohana Krishnan, Aidan Laprete e Lilah Pate in “Driver’s Ed”.
Alyssa ha precedentemente lavorato con Bobby, 66 anni, su “Hall Pass” – il film comico del 2011 che ha anche interpretato Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis e Alexandra Daddario – così come la serie comica “The Now”.
Il film in uscita – che viene girato nella Carolina del Nord – si concentra su alcuni adolescenti che rubano la macchina del conducente della loro scuola per andare su una roadtrip per salvare un amico da qualche problema.
Thomas Moffett ha scritto la sceneggiatura, mentre Jonas Pate, Jennifer Pate e David Stone fungeranno da produttori nel progetto.
Nel frattempo, Stuart Ford, Aghi Koh, Lorelle Lynch, Bobby Farrelly, Scott Lambert, Matthew Helderman e Luke Taylor hanno fatto a bordo di “Driver’s Ed” come produttori esecutivi.
Alyssa ha lavorato come scrittore e come produttore a volte nella sua carriera, e l’attrice ha precedentemente spiegato come quelle esperienze hanno influenzato le sue scelte di carriera.
Alla domanda su come lavorare dietro la telecamera abbia influenzato le sue decisioni, Alyssa ha detto al culturalista pop: “Mi ha reso molto più esigente.
“Ho letto molte sceneggiature. Purtroppo, molte di loro non sono eccezionali. La buona notizia è quando c’è un film o una sceneggiatura che ti viene inviata come” chi sei gente “, lo riconosci davvero per la sua grandezza.
“I used to hear this thing when I did theatre when I was a kid which was, ‘If it’s not on the page, it’s not on the stage.’ I get that now. I really understand that now. That no matter how good you are as an actor, you can’t create something that’s not there. You can’t create things in between the lines because so much of a film depends on the editing.”
Alyssa ha anche rivelato che adora lavorare su progetti indipendenti.

Alyssa – che è anche noto per il suo lavoro di attivismo, incluso un ruolo di primo piano nel movimento Metoo – ha detto: “There’s something really beautiful and fundamental about a crew coming together for the art of filmmaking. I’m not sure that happens on huge budget films anymore. It becomes about overtime. It becomes about the helicopter shot or the drone or whatever it is.”
