Christina Applegate ha rivelato di essere confinata a letto mentre continua a combattere la sclerosi multipla.
L’allume Sposato… con figli ha condiviso come cerca ancora di portare sua figlia, Sadie, a scuola e ad altre attività durante un’intervista con la rivista People.
“I want to take her; it’s my favourite thing to do. It’s the only time we have together by ourselves,” ha detto. “I tell myself, ‘Just get her there safely and get home so you can get back into bed.’ And that’s what I do.”
Applegate condivide i suoi 15 anni con suo marito, Martyn LeNoble.
“My life isn’t wrapped up with a bow,” ha continuato. “People’s lives, sorry for lack of a better term, f**king suck sometimes. So I’m being as honest and raw as I possibly can.”
Ad Applegate è stata diagnosticata la SM, una malattia che causa debolezza, intorpidimento, difficoltà a camminare e problemi alla vista, nell’agosto 2021.
“It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going,” ha scritto tramite X.
La star di Dead to Me ha periodicamente aggiornato i fan sul suo stato di salute, rivelando ad agosto di essere stata ricoverata in ospedale per i dolori.
Nello stesso mese, l’attore ha condiviso le sue condizioni “broken” sua figlia.
“I see her look at me when I’m in bed and can’t quite move, or I wanna go say goodnight to her in her room, but I can’t quite get down the hallway for whatever reason that my legs aren’t working that day,” ha detto sul suo podcast.
