Jennifer Garner has revealed that working with children on screen helps her be a "better" mum off screen. Jennifer Garner ha rivelato che lavorare con i bambini sullo schermo la aiuta a essere una “better” mamma fuori dallo schermo.
L’attrice ha interpretato una madre in almeno 10 ruoli importanti sul grande schermo e, secondo lei, questo l’ha aiutata a diventare un genitore migliore.
Durante un’apparizione sul podcast Not Gonna Lie con la conduttrice Kylie Kelce, Jennifer ha spiegato che lavorare con i bambini l’ha aiutata a capire meglio come interagire con i suoi figli, Samuel, 13, Fin, 17, e Violet, 20.
“I love the intimacy of that relationship, whether they’re a toddler and I get to become best buddies with a toddler, or whether it’s a little kid, a teenager or a young adult. I just I love them,” ha detto. “And they help give me perspective on myself as a parent.”
La stella 13 Going on 30 ha aggiunto: “I’m practicing that relationship, even practicing the friction of it, and (finding) ways that I can take that home and do a better job.”
Jennifer, 53 anni, ha spiegato che una delle cose che ha imparato è quando tacere.
“Because, really, your kids get to a point, and I hate to say this to you because you’re so far from this, and it’s really rude, but they get to a point where you’re not supposed to tell them everything,” disse a Kylie. “You’re supposed to stay quiet.”
L’attrice L’ultima cosa che mi ha detto ha continuato, “I don’t know when that happens, but all of a sudden, it’s not on you, and you’re actually – you’re in trouble.”
Jennifer condivide i suoi tre figli con l’ex marito Ben Affleck, con cui è stata sposata dal 2005 al 2018.
Altrove nell’intervista, Jennifer ha rivelato che i suoi figli le hanno chiesto di non farsi un lifting, una promessa che lei rifiuta di fare.
“My kids are like, ‘Mom, promise us you’ll never get a facelift.’ And I say, ‘I am unlikely to rush toward a facelift,'” ha condiviso. “And yet I refuse to make that promise because I am me today, and I don’t know how I’m gonna feel.”
