Tom ha dichiarato alla rubrica 60 Seconds del quotidiano Metro: “Chiunque venga da questa parte del mondo non può fare a meno di idolatrare la cultura della recitazione che arriva attraverso il franchise di Bond.
“I grew up on those films, so it would be lovely. I don’t see it happening but of course it would be lovely.”

Ha detto: “Non ho sentito molta pressione, probabilmente perché non ero molto consapevole del libro prima di essere scelto.
“L’ho letto mentre stavamo girando e l’ho estratto per trovare informazioni. Le persone che gravitano intorno a libri come questo tendono ad essere molto premurose e affettuose.
“I went into this experience also with optimism and positivity. I did the film because I wanted something that was fun and a bit lighter.”
