Pink ha spiegato perché la sua famiglia si è trasferita a New York City.
La hitmaker di Get The Party Started ha confermato che si è trasferita nella Grande Mela con suo marito Carey Hart e i loro figli Willow, 14 anni, e Jameson, nove.
Lunedì, mentre ospitava il programma con sede a New York, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Pink ha spiegato il motivo del trasferimento dalla California.
“We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom. And also so Willow could study theatre and experience more Broadway,” ha detto dopo aver eseguito una cover di Hopeless War dal musical The Outsiders con Willow.
Pink, che ospiterà lo spettacolo per la settimana, ha recentemente smentito un rapporto secondo cui sarebbe stata scelta per assumere la direzione del Kelly Clarkson Show dopo l’imminente partenza di Kelly.
“I’m not taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show,” ha detto in un video Instagram cancellato da allora. “I’m doing a fun thing for my buddy Kelly, because it’s a fun thing… If I wanted a talk show, I would not have to audition. I would just have one, and it would be amazing, not something I’m currently researching or looking for in my busy, busy, busy world.”
Il concerto di hosting temporaneo arriva poco dopo che la cantante, vero nome Alecia Moore, ha messo a tacere le voci secondo cui si era separata da Carey dopo 20 anni di matrimonio.
“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know! Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children?” ha detto in un video su Instagram la scorsa settimana. “Fake news. Not true. I love you all. Go with god.”
All’inizio di febbraio, Kelly ha annunciato che avrebbe terminato il suo talk show dopo sette stagioni per dare priorità ai suoi due figli. Lo spettacolo si concluderà entro la fine dell’anno.
