Armie Hammer non si sente più a proprio agio nel dragare lo stupro e le affermazioni del cannibalismo contro di lui.
Il Call Me By Your Name Star è stato abbandonato dai progetti all’inizio del 2021 dopo essere stato accusato di cattiva condotta sessuale e di aver inviato donne in disturbo incentrato sul BDSM e il feticismo cannibale.
Due mesi dopo, la polizia di Los Angeles ha avviato un’indagine sulle rivendicazioni di aggressioni sessuali, ma hanno trovato prove insufficienti per accusarlo.
Hammer, che ora sta intraprendendo un ritorno in carriera, è stato costretto a rivisitare tutte le accuse durante l’episodio di martedì del podcast di Louis Theroux e ha ammesso alla fine dell’intervista che non gli piaceva farlo.
“I don’t love the way the interview started. Just to be perfectly honest. I’m not crazy about dredging all this stuff up because for me a lot of these issues have been resolved, whether it be legally or within myself, and I feel like a lot of those waters have settled,” Ha dichiarato.
“I think doing things like that stirs up the water again, unnecessarily. It definitely wasn’t my favourite beginning. I’m glad we moved past that and got to a place where we could have a civil, normal conversation, like, that felt good. But dredging all that stuff up, I don’t love it.”
L’intervistatore Theroux ha spiegato che ha esaminato le affermazioni perché il “jury was still out” nella Corte di opinione pubblica.
L’attore ha risposto, “I think a lot of the court of public opinion is really still the public opinion of the court because we keep dredging things back up again. I’m very happy in my life, I feel like I’ve moved through all of that and there are no aspects of my life where that stuff still touches my day-to-day.”
Ha aggiunto, “I get that on things like this, that stuff needs to come up, but I’m just very happy to report that that’s not a part of my life anymore.”
Durante l’intervista, il 38enne ha nuovamente negato le accuse, ammettendo di essere un “d**k” alle donne ma non ho mai fatto nulla “illegal”.
