Da’Vine Joy Randolph ha una routine specifica per rilassarsi dopo il lavoro

Da’Vine Joy Randolph ha descritto dettagliatamente la routine che usa per staccare la spina dopo il lavoro.

L’attrice premio Oscar ha rivelato che fa uno sforzo consapevole per dare priorità al relax una volta terminate le riprese della giornata.

Parlando con Bustle in un’intervista congiunta con la sua co-star di Eternity Miles Teller, Randolph ha spiegato che il suo rituale di rilassamento è incentrato su semplici comfort.

“Because I’m so jacked up after work, I need a wind-down,” ha detto. “Usually I’ll make something (to eat) and watch cartoons.”

La star di Holdovers ha aggiunto che la solitudine è la chiave per rilassarsi dopo lunghe ore sul set.

“When we’re acting, there’s so many people around us and talking at us and asking us all these questions,” ha affermato. “When you get back to your spot, I don’t want to talk.”

In altre parti dell’intervista, Randolph, 39 anni, ha riflettuto sull’importanza di allontanarsi dagli altri quando necessario, una lezione che ha imparato nel corso della sua carriera.

“I’m a little too good at taking a break if I feel like it,” ha detto alla pubblicazione. “If I was around all the time, I think I would have blurred lines, but I’ve learned in this career (how) to evaluate relationships better, and I think I’m actually healthier with it. Life is short.”

Ha chiarito, tuttavia, che non lo è “quick to break somebody off”ma sa semplicemente quando andare avanti.

“When I was younger, I remember my mom used to be like, ‘There’s a reason, a season, and a time that people come and go out of your life,'” ha ricordato. “I used to cry, ‘No mom, I want to be friends with them forever.’ And now that I’ve gotten older, I’m like, ‘No, that’s cool.'”
