Sophie Turner spera di farlo “have some peace” sulla trentina dopo essere sopravvissuto a lei “relatively hard twenties”.
L’attrice de Il Trono di Spade, che compirà 30 anni il 21 febbraio, ha condiviso ciò che spera nel prossimo decennio della sua vita.
“I just want to have some peace in my thirties,” ha detto alla rivista Porter. “I feel like it’s been really hectic for a long time and I’m ready to not have that anymore. Just settle a bit.”
Ha aggiunto, “I’m looking forward to knowing myself better, knowing my boundaries and (having) a little more autonomy over my own life.”
L’attrice britannica ha aggiunto che, per quanto difficili siano stati gli ultimi anni, le hanno insegnato che è più forte di quanto pensasse.
“As stressed as I am, I know I can get through it. That’s the good thing about having a relatively hard twenties: I learned that I can survive a lot,” rifletté. “I’m like, there’s pressure, there’s stress, but I’ve been through worse. I have to remind myself that we’re very malleable and we can take on a lot more than we think we can.”
Sembra che Turner si riferisse al suo divorzio dal cantante americano Joe Jonas dopo quattro anni di matrimonio nel settembre 2023, seguito da un’aspra battaglia per la custodia delle loro figlie Willa, cinque anni, e Delphine, tre. Da allora hanno raggiunto un accordo e il loro divorzio è stato finalizzato nel settembre 2024.
La star di Do Revenge ha notato che l’attenzione della stampa è diminuita da quando è tornata nel Regno Unito con le ragazze l’anno scorso, tuttavia, le speculazioni sulla sua vita personale rimangono intense.
“It’s a total fishbowl. And people take so much as fact these days. Any article that comes out, people go, ‘Right, that must have happened,'” ha detto. “You feel like you’re gagged because silence is always the way to let something die out. But it means that you can’t stand up for yourself ever, so there’s a feeling of helplessness and shame.”
Ha aggiunto, “I get calls from my mum going, ‘Oh my God, darling, I didn’t know this happened.’ And I’m like, ‘It might have happened, but I wasn’t ready to tell you, let alone the world…’ You just don’t have the narrative over your own story.”
Dopo la sua separazione da Jonas, Turner ha frequentato l’aristocratico britannico Peregrine Pearson per circa due anni fino all’estate del 2025. Recentemente è stata legata a Chris Martin dei Coldplay.
