Kate Mara ha provato a fare da sensale per Jamie Bell prima che iniziassero a frequentarsi

Kate Mara ha provato a sistemarsi “biggest catch” Jamie Bell esce con altre donne prima che diventassero un oggetto.

L’attrice di House of Cards e l’attore di Billy Elliot si sono incontrati sul set del film di supereroi del 2015 I Fantastici Quattro e hanno annunciato di essersi sposati nel luglio 2017.

Mercoledì, durante un’apparizione al podcast Where Everybody Knows Your Name, Kate ha ricordato come lei e Jamie fossero solo amici da molto tempo.

“We were friends but not – we didn’t really know each other. And then we made the Fantastic Four movie together, which was a really interesting experience,” ha detto al conduttore Ted Danson, descrivendo le riprese del film come “rough” e un “mess”.

Ma nonostante pensasse che Jamie lo fosse “so great” e il “best”Kate ha cercato di abbinare l’attore inglese ad altre donne.

“He was single and I was trying to set him up with all these people,” ha ricordato il 42enne. “‘Cause I thought, ‘Oh God, I’ve (got to) set him up with someone. He’s the biggest catch. How is he not with someone amazing?'”

Fu solo durante il tour stampa dei Fantastici Quattro che Kate capì che Jamie era il “person I was looking for”.

“We were friends for so long that we were both just in our minds, like, ‘This is the relationship,'” sorrise. “And then, yeah, we fell in love on the press tour of that movie ‘cause it was trauma bonding.”

E una volta che erano una coppia, non si poteva più tornare indietro.

“He blinked, and that was it. Insane. We’re like, ‘Oh, I guess we’re getting married,'” ha scherzato la star di A Teacher. “We just thought, ‘Oh, this is gonna be forever. Wonderful.’ And here we are, a bunch of kids later and it’s the best.”

Kate e Jamie sono genitori di una figlia di sei anni e di un figlio di due anni.

Il 39enne ha anche un figlio con l’ex moglie Evan Rachel Wood.
