Julia Roberts e Leonardo DiCaprio hanno reso omaggio all’icona della moda Giorgio Armani.
Giovedì un portavoce della casa Armani ha annunciato che lo stilista italiano l’aveva fatto “passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones”. Aveva 91 anni.
In seguito alla triste notizia, Roberts è andata su Instagram per pubblicare una foto di se stessa e Armani in posa su un evento sul tappeto rosso nel 2019.
“A true friend. A Legend,” ha scritto nella didascalia, aggiungendo l’emoji del cuore spezzato.
Inoltre, DiCaprio ha condiviso un raro post tramite le sue storie su Instagram in cui ricordava il primo incontro con Armani “many years” fa.
“Giorgio Armani was a visionary whose influence reached far beyond design,” ha elogiato l’attore. “I first met him many years ago in Milan and I remember being blown away by his creativity and genius. He was a legendary force who inspired generations, and his legacy will continue to shape and uplift the world for years to come.”
Altrove, Reese Witherspoon ha riflettuto sulle molte volte in cui ha collaborato con Armani per le sue apparizioni sul tappeto rosso.
“What a dream it was to work with Giorgio Armani! A legendary designer who offered the world so much style, elegance & grace,” ha affermato. “I will be forever grateful that I got to wear so many of his beautiful gowns. My heart goes out to his family and all the wonderful people at his atelier during this time.”
Laura Dern ha descritto Armani come uno dei “world’s greatest artists”mentre Pene´lope Cruz ha insistito affinché lo stilista restasse “forever in my heart”.
“Maestro, you did it your way and maybe that’s why you are so loved by so many. I’m so honored to have been able to spend time with you. Your generosity and kindness touched me so much and you will be forever in my heart. I wish you great freedom and happiness,” ha commentato la stella.
Nel frattempo anche i leader del settore della moda hanno espresso le loro condoglianze alla famiglia Armani.
Michael Kors ha notato che lo era “heartbroken” per la morte del guru dello stile, mentre Valentino Garavani dichiarava di poterlo fare “only bow to his immense talent”.
