Nick Cannon ha rivelato il trauma che lo ha portato a padre 12 figli.
Il presentatore televisivo si è aperto sulla vita familiare e il divorzio in una nuova intervista con il programma radiofonico The Breakfast Club. Cannon ha ammesso di essere stato “careless” In passato, ma ha insistito tutti i suoi figli “made out of love” durante “strong” relazioni.
“It wasn’t like I was acting out,” ha spiegato. “It was more of being careless, being frivolous with my process because I could do it, because I had the money (and) because I had the access to whoever and however I wanted to move.”
Ha aggiunto: “Then, obviously, life happens as well, so it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna go have 12 kids.’ It was more like, ‘Yo, I’m gonna just live life and have fun and whatever happens happens. I can handle it.'”
Da quando è entrato nella sua metà degli anni ’40, Cannon ha insistito sul fatto che il suo processo di pensiero è maturato.
La star di 44 anni, che in precedenza era sposata con Mariah Carey, si rifletteva sul non dedicare del tempo a mettere in discussione il suo processo decisionale in passato.
“If I would have did the work (and) the healing after getting divorced, I probably would have took my time in a lot of other scenarios,” Ha condiviso. “And for whatever reason, I thought that was the answer a lot of times, like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna figure it out over here.'”
Ha continuato: “Now, you’re leaving trauma every step of the way instead of fixing it from its origin.”
Altrove nell’intervista, Cannon ha ammesso di sentirsi come un “complete failure” Dopo la sua separazione da Mariah, ma ha insistito che era il “right decision” per la coppia per andare in modo separato.
