Larry David si unisce alle forze con l’ex presidente degli Stati Uniti Barack Obama e sua moglie Michelle Obama per produrre una nuova commedia di sketch ispirata alla storia americana.
Giovedì, i produttori della HBO hanno annunciato di avere una serie di sei episodi a sei episodi co-scritta dal Curb Your Enthusiasm Creator e produttore Jeff Schaffer.
“President and Mrs. Obama wanted to honour America’s 250th anniversary and celebrate the unique history of our nation on this special occasion… But then Larry David called,” La logline recita.
La serie presenterà un mix di marciapiedi i tuoi attori dell’entusiasmo e “noteworthy” guest star.
Gli Obama produrranno lo spettacolo ancora da fare sotto il loro banner di terra più elevato, mentre Schaffer fungerà anche da direttore.
“I’ve sat across the table from some of the world’s most difficult leaders and wrestled with some of our most intractable problems. Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David,” Barack ha preso in giro.
Mentre era nel suo umorismo caratteristico, Larry ha scherzato di aver programmato di ritirarsi dopo aver frenato il tuo entusiasmo avvolto nell’aprile 2024 dopo 12 stagioni.
“Once Curb ended, I celebrated with a three-day foam party. After a violent allergic reaction to the suds, I yearned to return to my simple life as a beekeeper, harvesting organic honey from the wildflowers in my meadow. Alas, one day my bees mysteriously vanished. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I return to television, hoping to ease the loss of my beloved hive,” Il 78enne sospirò.
