Tramell Tillman era così entusiasta di essere offerto un ruolo nella missione: impossibile – la resa dei conti finali che lui “jumped and down” E “ran around his apartment”.
Quando il regista del film Christopher McQuarrie ha richiesto un incontro di zoom, l’attore ha pensato di voler semplicemente parlare del suo show televisivo di successo. Quindi fu sorpreso e sopraffatto dalla gioia quando il regista gli offrì un ruolo nella puntata dell’ottava missione.
“He went on to talk about Mission: Impossible, and he said that there was a role in it for me, and I asked him, I said, ‘Well, what do we do from here? What’s the deal?’ He said, ‘You think about it, and if you want to take the role, it’s yours,'” Tillman ha ricordato in un’intervista con Entertainment Weekly.
“And I ended the meeting and I closed my laptop, and I jumped up and down, and ran around my apartment, and called my team and I said, ‘Listen, I know that we’re gearing up to film for season 2 of Severance, but we got to figure this out.’ And I accepted the offer to come play in Mission: Impossible.”
Tillman, che è noto soprattutto per aver interpretato Seth Milchick in Severance, si unisce alla franchising Mission: Impossible come Capitano Bledsoe, il leader di un sottomarino invisibile che aiuta Ethan Hunt di Tom Cruise durante la sua ultima avventura.
La star ha rivelato che McQuarrie non era l’unico fan di fine rapporto sul set, poiché i suoi co-protagonisti hanno anche espresso il loro amore per la serie Apple TV+.
“Funny enough, in between takes, they would whisper, ‘We love Severance,’ and then go back to filming,” Ha condiviso. “It’s always a delight to be a part of a project that people respect and love the work.”

La seconda stagione di Severance è andata in onda tra gennaio e marzo di quest’anno e una terza serie è attualmente in lavorazione.
