Dave Coulier has revealed that he was unable to eat solid food for months while undergoing cancer treatment. The Full House actor addressed concerns about his appearance and weight loss in an Instagram video shared on Thursday. Dave Coulier ha rivelato di non essere riuscito a mangiare cibi solidi per mesi mentre era sottoposto a cure contro il cancro.
L’attore di Full House ha espresso le sue preoccupazioni sul suo aspetto e sulla perdita di peso in un video Instagram condiviso giovedì.
Nella clip, Dave ha spiegato che i cambiamenti erano il risultato del trattamento per due diagnosi di cancro separate in due anni, dopo che gli era stato diagnosticato un linfoma non Hodgkin nel novembre 2024 e un cancro orofaringeo nel dicembre 2025.
“Some of you said that I look differently and I sound differently and I do,” ha detto il 66enne nel video. “And what you’re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat.”
L’attore ha continuato spiegando come il trattamento lo ha influenzato fisicamente.
“I haven’t been able to eat solid food in months and so I’ve lost 45 pounds,” ha condiviso. “That’s what you’re seeing and it’s affected my ability to speak.”
Nonostante continuasse a fare i conti con alcuni effetti collaterali, Dave ha rivelato di aver ricevuto anche notizie positive riguardo alla sua salute.
“My hair is kind of growing back,” ha detto alla telecamera, “and we got our pet scans back and the prognosis looks good for both the carcinoma in my throat and the lymphoma. So we’re very pleased with all of that.”
Cinque mesi dopo aver annunciato la sua diagnosi di linfoma non Hodgkin, Dave ha rivelato di essere libero dal cancro. Tuttavia, mesi dopo, rivelò che gli era stato diagnosticato un cancro orofaringeo correlato all’HPV.
Da allora il comico ha confermato che ora è in remissione da entrambi i tumori.
Altrove nel post di Instagram, Dave ha detto di essersi tenuto occupato durante il suo recupero.
