Drew Barrymore ha riflettuto sul momento imbarazzante che ha avuto con Martha Stewart durante un’intervista.
L’attrice e conduttore di talk show ha insistito sul fatto che il momento virale in cui Martha l’ha spinta via durante un’intervista del 2024 era solo uno scherzo.
Durante un’apparizione sull’episodio di Watch What Happen Watch What Happen con Andy Cohen, Drew ha spiegato che i fan avevano frainteso l’interazione imbarazzante.
“You know what? I think she was just teasing,” Drew ha detto all’host Andy, aggiungendo che pensa l’autore di libri di cucina “really does like” suo.
“I think the internet just misunderstood the moment and ran with it, because when I first was getting to know her, I was like, I don’t think she likes me, but I think I broke through,” La star di 50 Dates Star è continuata. “She doesn’t dislike me!”
Il momento virale è avvenuto quando Drew ha accarezzato il braccio del magnate dello stile di vita e indietro durante un’intervista per il suo talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show.
Martha, 83 anni, poi spinse rapidamente l’attrice di Charlie Angels e disse: “You’re the wrong gender.”
Drew ha risposto scherzosamente in quel momento, “I know … although, the way it’s going with men, though, Martha, I’m not so sure anymore.”
La 43enne è stata criticata in passato per essere troppo permalosa con i suoi ospiti, ma non sembra avere in programma di cambiare il suo stile di intervista.
“I can’t actually control it,” Drew ha raccontato ad Andy del suo intimo stile di intervista. “I got focus-grouped when we launched, and it was not good. It was awful.”
