Tom Cruise è svenuto dalla mancanza di ossigeno durante le riprese di acrobazie per l’aereo per “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”.
L’attore di 62 anni riprende il suo ruolo di Ethan Hunt nell’ultimo film nel franchise di azione e si è spinto verso gli estremi fisici per le sequenze che sfidano la morte che hanno definito la serie di film.
Cruise ha detto a Empire Magazine: “Quando tiri fuori la faccia (di un aereo), per oltre 120 a 130 miglia all’ora, non stai ottenendo ossigeno.
“So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit.”
I film “Mission: Impossible” precedenti hanno visto Cruise scalare il Burj Khalifa a Dubai e aggrapparsi al tetto di un treno in movimento, ma il regista Christopher McQuarrie ha spiegato che una scena nell’ultimo film – che è previsto per il rilascio a maggio – “want to puke” da “the stress”.
Il regista di 56 anni ha dichiarato: “Ci sono acrobazie in questo film che ti scioglieranno il cervello.
“There would be a day in Africa – any day in Africa – where Tom would go out and do something that topped anything he had ever done before.”
Si è parlato del fatto che “Mission: Impossible-The Final Reckoning” potrebbe essere l’ultimo film del franchising di lunga data, ma Cruise è a bassa labbra sulla questione.
La star di “Top Gun” ha detto: “Devi vedere il film.
“It’s a hard thing for me to discuss at the moment, because it really is something that you have to experience.”
McQuarrie era anche timida sull’argomento, ma ha promesso che la nuova foto comprenderà il tempo di Cruise che interpreta Ethan Hunt.
Il regista ha dichiarato: “È, spero, la conclusione soddisfacente per un arco di storia di 30 anni.
“I’m pretty confident that people are going to feel that the title was appropriate.”
Nel frattempo, McQuarrie ha rivelato che un membro del pubblico “almost had a heart attack” Durante una proiezione del film dopo aver visto una delle sequenze d’azione intense.
Ha detto: “We had a small screening, and someone said, ‘I was suffocating throughout the entire sequence. I almost had a heart attack’. And I thought, ‘I guess we did something right’.”
Il regista di “Jack Reacher” ha promesso che l’ottavo film del franchise darà ai fan la possibilità di vedere più personaggi Grace (Hayley Atwell), Degas (Greg Tarzan Davis) e Paris (Pom Klementieff).
Ha detto: “I can only say that the end of the world makes strange bedfellows. And I’m excited for people to see the evolution of Paris, Degas and Grace.”
McQuarrie ha spiegato che non vuole che i personaggi vengano incantati nei film come maghi tecnologici o agenti di tutte le azioni.
Il regista, che ha guidato quattro film nella serie, ha dichiarato: “Missione” ha una mente a sé stante.
“If you say, ‘I want a character who does this’, you’ll be disappointed. If, however, you approach it obliquely, the movie will reward you, and you will find yourself doing things you never thought you would.”
