Jennifer Lawrence ha rivelato perché non si fa più il botox sulla fronte.
Durante una recente apparizione sul podcast Las Culturistas, i co-conduttori Bowen Yang e Matt Rogers hanno chiesto all’attrice premio Oscar di elencare alcuni degli argomenti che la fanno arrabbiare.
In risposta, Jennifer ha criticato i critici online che attaccano le donne che si sottopongono a procedure cosmetiche.
“(I don’t like when people start) calling out actresses who look like they got a little bit of Botox (and they’re) the same people in comments being like, ‘She looks tired, she looks old,'” cominciò.
Jennifer ha continuato ad ammettere candidamente di essere entusiasta di farsi iniezioni di Botox in faccia dopo aver terminato la produzione del nuovo dramma psicologico, Die My Love.
“I cannot believe I waited so long. But you know what? I’ve stopped getting it in my forehead because I’m just gonna have to get lines. With Botox, you can get there with sagging but once the lines are there, you have to leave it alone,” ha continuato il 35enne.
Dopo che Bowen e Matt hanno confessato di non saperlo “rules” di iniezioni cosmetiche, Jennifer ha scherzato dicendo che erano tutte “made up” da lei.
Altrove nella chat, Jennifer ha parlato della possibilità di sottoporsi a trattamenti laser per aiutare a combattere il melasma, una condizione comune in cui sulla pelle compaiono macchie di pigmentazione marroni o grigie.
“Don’t talk to melasma lady about (sun exposure). I wear a hat with a scarf wrapped around to block my cheeks, and I still get melasma, I don’t know how?” chiese. “I found out after years of getting laser, that laser makes it worse, because it exacerbates (heat).
“Inoltre, per chi soffre di melasma, la luce rossa peggiora la situazione, non si può fare la luce rossa e non si può fare la sauna. Potrei anche morire. Non che mi piacciano le saune, ma non voglio essere lasciata fuori,” ha scherzato la madre di due figli.
