Sophie Turner sta facendo “a lot of self-work” in vista del suo trentesimo compleanno il mese prossimo.
Mercoledì, durante un’apparizione su CBS Mornings, la co-conduttrice Gayle King ha notato che l’ex attrice di Game of Thrones raggiungerà l’età fondamentale il 21 febbraio.
“I’m wondering how you’re feeling about it. Your life is just getting started, you’re now a mother of two, you went through a high-profile divorce, come out the other side,” rifletté.
In risposta, Sophie ha semplicemente commentato, “Yeah.”
Nel settembre 2024, la star di Joan ha finalizzato il divorzio da Joe Jonas dopo quattro anni di matrimonio. L’ex coppia ha le figlie Willa, cinque, e Delphine, tre.
Gayle ha continuato ricordando come pensava che fosse “so cool” quando ha compiuto 30 anni, anche se ha riconosciuto che gli altri possono farlo “feel very depressed by it”.
“Not me, not me,” Sophie rispose. “I’m so looking forward to it. In the run-up to my 30th, I’ve been really doing a lot of self-work, because I want to enter this new chapter of my life really confident in myself. I want to know myself as well as I can. So, I’ve been doing a hell of a lot of therapy the past few months, and now I feel really ready to go into my 30s.”
Altrove nella chat, Gayle ha chiesto a Sophie cosa le succede “bucket list” per il prossimo decennio.
Oltre a sperarlo “work a lot”l’attrice vuole trovare il tempo per divertirsi “a bit of peace and quiet”.
“I’m really looking forward to just spending time with my kids,” ha aggiunto il 29enne. “Going to the playground, taking them to museums. Really entering a calm phase of my life.”
Sophie sta attualmente promuovendo la sua nuova serie TV, Steal, che inizierà lo streaming tramite Prime Video il 21 gennaio.
Inoltre, l’inglese è stato scelto per interpretare Lara Croft nella prossima serie TV live-action Tomb Raider, la cui produzione inizierà a breve.
