Jennifer Lawrence si considera una “stay-at-home” mamma nonostante la sua intensa carriera a Hollywood.
Lunedì, durante un’intervista per il podcast SmartLess, l’attrice premio Oscar ha spiegato che cerca di lavorare solo tre mesi all’anno in modo da poter trascorrere il resto del tempo a casa con la sua famiglia.
Jennifer ha due figli piccoli, Cy, di tre anni, e Louie, di 10 mesi, con il marito Cooke Maroney.
“That’s me. I identify as a stay-at-home mom. But I am obviously working,” ha detto. “I’m not used to being busy like this. I normally have a busy like three months while I’m filming, but even in that sense, it’s calm because there is nothing else to do. I just go to work, I do that, I come home, I sleep, and then I do it again. And then, like, two weeks while you promote – it is hectic.”
Il co-conduttore Jason Bateman ha esclamato che lui “loves not doing anything” e andare a letto presto, cosa su cui Jennifer era totalmente d’accordo.
“Oh. I’m in bed. Kindle is lit until like 9:15. And then I don’t even have, like, Kindle light on normally by 9:15,” ha continuato la 35enne, ricordando di aver recentemente rifiutato un invito a una festa iniziata alle 21:00. “You can’t be hungover with a nine-month-old. Even a three-year-old is just not an option.”
Altrove nella conversazione, Jennifer ha fatto rari commenti sul marito Cooke, direttore della galleria d’arte, che ha sposato nel 2019.
“I married somebody who is the opposite of me. He is so organised. He’s an anchor,” sorrise. “Everything is ordered. I have to keep the closet doors closed, and I have my little jobs that I work really hard to do… But we’ve learned, to keep our marriage alive, I have a 15-minute wiggle room.”
Più recentemente, Jennifer è apparsa nel dramma psicologico Die My Love, per il quale è stata nominata per un Golden Globe.
